Jean Maurez

I'm Venezuelan and have been tattooing for twelve years. I'm based in the Netherlands.

What I enjoy most is the conversation before the needle. Where an idea comes from, why now, and why that place on your body.

I work with a small number of clients each week, so every design gets the time it needs. I'll give you honest advice, even if I think another approach would work better.

Does a consultation cost anything?+

No. The consultation is free and comes with no obligation.

I don't know exactly what I want yet. Can I still book a consultation?+

Yes. Most people come with a rough idea. That's exactly what the consultation is for.

How long is the wait for an appointment?+

The wait is usually 3 to 6 months. Larger pieces may take a little longer. During the consultation, I'll let you know what to expect.

Do you require a deposit?+

Yes. I ask for a deposit when we book your date. It's deducted from the final total.

Do you do cover-ups?+

Yes. Whether a cover-up is possible depends on the existing tattoo. Include a photo with your request and we'll look at it together during the consultation.

How old do I have to be to get a tattoo?+

You must be at least 18 and bring valid ID.
